Refund policy

At Le Scribe, we take pride in the quality of our fragrances and customer experience. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer a return and refund process in accordance with the applicable Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181/2018).

Please read the following policy carefully to understand your rights and how we can assist you.


1. Return Eligibility

You have the right to request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that one or more of the following conditions apply:

  • The product arrived damaged or defective
  • The wrong item was delivered
  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging
  • You changed your mind, and the item is in its original, sealed condition

2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and safety standards, we cannot accept returns of any perfume product that has been opened or used.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be sealed, unused, and in its original packaging. We reserve the right to inspect returned items to verify their condition before issuing a refund or exchange.


3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please email us at prive@lescribeofficiel.com or contact our customer care team at +20 1040 555 922 with the following details:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable, for damaged or incorrect items)

Once approved, we will provide you with instructions and a return shipping label.


4. Return Shipping Costs

Le Scribe will cover all return shipping fees, regardless of the reason for the return. You will not be charged for return delivery under any circumstances.


5. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 business days
  • Alternatively, at your request, we can offer the refund as store credit or a coupon code

6. Exchanges

If you prefer an exchange rather than a refund (for example, for a different item), we will be happy to assist, subject to our Return Eligibility Policy (see top of page) and product availability.


7. Exceptions

Returns or refunds may be declined if:

  • The returned product is opened, used, or damaged after delivery
  • The return request is made after 14 days from delivery
  • The returned item does not match the condition described when the return was requested

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not comply with the above terms.
